Getting around during the Inauguration will definitely challenging, even if you are staying within the city. With the influx of people the metro was dependable but just extremely crowded and there will be times where it is easier to just use a taxicab service.

The D.C. Taxi Cab Commission is considering a surcharge for extra passengers, similar to the added fee during the Nationals playoff games that was rescinded at the request of the Mayor.
